The West Irving Library is holding a special art project for tweens and teens. Partcipants will be carving a unique design into linoleum and then using ink to add it to fabric. Once again this event is for teenagers in grades 6-12.

Kids and families—don’t miss this unique, hands-on art experience! Join us on July 9th at 2:00 PM to get creative with a hedgehog as your animal model. During this 30-minute program, guests will meet an exciting animal that loves to model, learn fun facts, and create their own artwork with all supplies provided. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to take a photo with the animal and your finished masterpiece! Preregistration is required and spots will fill quickly

She has teamed up with the local library to host an exciting July Series just for kids in 2nd–5th grade! Participants will be reading “Brand New School, Brave New Ruby” by the amazing @authorderrickdbarnes because YES to Black authors and characters!
